The Maass family of American and European companies consists of a multinational business conglomerate. All of these companies operate independently of each other, but are still able to work closely enough together as a team. Maass' mission is to supply our valued worldwide customers with the highest quality product available along with a fast delivery, all at a competitive price. We combine the experience of specialty manufacturing with stocking a combination of products to suit the needs of our customers. All of the Maass facilities are approved to the strict quality control procedures according to BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
Wilhelm Maass GmbH - Administration
The original company, Wilhelm Maass Flanschenfabrik, GmbH, was founded in Essen Germany, during the late 1940's. Maass specializes in the forging and machining production of flanges in stainless steel and other exotic alloys. During the late 1970's and through the early 1980's the Maass family opened additional facilities in Holland and England. Soon thereafter, in 1982 Maass Flange Corporation in Houston, Texas was formed. In the late 1980's the company further expanded its flange and fitting manufacturing and distribution of flanges and related products into Ontario, Canada. In 1994, the Maass family opened a sales office in Mexico City for the distribution of flanges, fittings, pipe and valves. During the Spring of 1996 Maass opened its first Mexico manufacturing plant located in Acuna, Mexico. This plant currently forges and machines ½ inch through 12 inch, 150 lb. and 300 lb. flanges according to the ANSI B16.5 dimensional standards and the ASTM A182 material standards.
During the years, all of our branches have proved to be successful in providing the service that our loyal customers require. It is this satisfaction from our customers that has empowered our growth to this date. We have continued to specialize in the manufacturing of flanges from stainless steel and other exotic alloys to the highest quality standards known in the industry. Our capacities range from ½ inch through 60 inch nominal pipe sizes and 150 pounds through 2,500 pound pressure classes. These sizes are manufactured in accordance to the latest dimensional and material standards. Other standards such as DIN and other European specifications, can be provided based on customer requirements. Other than flanges, some of the Maass companies also specialize in supplying bar, pipe, fittings, valves, seals, gaskets, bolts and other products related to the PVF industry.
